Where can I find a photo enhancing program like the CSI’s use?

I’m not even sure if there is such a program out there like what CSI Miami uses on their TV series. However, if there are such programs can anyone guide me to where I might find something like that? It would be greatly appreciated!! ;-) Thanks in advance!

    It’s a TV show. It is not real. It is just made to look cool.

    The software they use is not any program that exists in real life, and the things they do with it are usually physically impossible (like having a low resolution blurry image and blowing it up to something super-crisp so you can read the text on a piece of paper).

    Photoshop is the main photo editing software out here at the moment, but I do not know any specific forensic image analysis programs (but you can bet they will be “boring” and very technical without any cool effects like CSI).
